Yahoo was one of the few IM that popularize " Internet fraud" in Nigeria which we all know as YAHOO! YAHOO! The addiction was 2X addicting than coke or any hard drugs. . Gave guys sleepless night working online "Gee mΔ sΓΉn... πππ If you not familiar with yahoo you probably a kid then.

Google Talk also known as Gchat , Gmessage was an instant messaging service that provided both text and voice communication. Gtalk was one of the first app that offer free VoIP. Started August 25, 2005.
Nigerian couldn't resist it's free premium service which come with free voice and video call. Back in 2005 voice and video call was limited in Nigeria. Now imagine how valuable this app was.

Eskimi is a social network where you can meet and chat with people from all round the world.
Eskimi has been existing since 2009. I remember back then when this site was one of the best social networking site in Africa. Easily chat with people from all African countries, get eskimi credit and so on. Then it was fun.

You can make cheap international voice calls, send unlimited chat messages, share files etc across popular messengers. In the early 2000 this app was quite addicting mostly for it's VoIP and international chat.
If you don't know nimbuzz or you never use this app you missed the fun.
